History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him
