History: She is a Deep Scion in disguise. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. During her travels, Elysande and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Elysande discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Elysande fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He works hard and plays hard.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.
