Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hammer.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. After coming to the age of reason, Galiena took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Galiena was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.
