Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She has all her life been fascinated with painting.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital.
