She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tanner. He now owns his own business.

History: She is a Yochlol in disguise. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. During her travels, Mary and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Mary discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Mary fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
