Description: 5'8" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. His brown hair is thinning but still full. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She is mildly Human supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She is obsessed with her god.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes.

Description: An older woman who is renowned for her bright white dresses and hats, she is not a threatening figure. She has shaved her head bald. Her brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Susannah lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well.
