After coming to the age of reason, Miles took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mason they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Marshal, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Ernest was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
