He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: He was born in the west. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Norman was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Joan was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Butcher. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
