History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Hugolina was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Jocelyn was born with his mother's beautiful face. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town.
