History: Jocelyn was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. A gifted student he started as a Laborer, but he got bored and became a Spice Merchant. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Shepherd but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. After a long history of fighting, Maynild and her spouse have recently divorced.
