History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. His black hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Anselm was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bounty Hunter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Spy, and he later adopted a second daughter.
