Personality: Lance wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Lance and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Personality: She exudes charisma. She is a tour de force of persuasion. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Aline was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Body Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Body Guard work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 11 years.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to open a new tavern
