History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ralf was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Body Guard. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is dressed in earthy colors with a yellow and violet handkerchief worn on his right side. He has moderate length black hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and many illithids want him driven away

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. She wears a shirt that is too small, which lets her gut show, with a ratty brown coat over it. Her brown hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. This amber eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Galiena was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Ahlyssa was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.
