History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Manfred grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Godfrey was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was taken from his home at a very young age. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: She was born in the west. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Beatrice was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the goblins.
