Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He sports a long black beard, and similarly colored long hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ernest embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Through the years after Ernest was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ernest's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

His long red hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Glassblower but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Description: This fat eastern woman has a bulbous nose and wears just a white suit. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her tied-back hair is red. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born in a small desert village. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Marshal they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Fortune-teller, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and an old rival family wants her found

Description: She wears a worn and beaten armor. She is portly but not overly obese. Her red hair is lengthy. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Adelaide was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her childhood dream was to be a Gardener, but she was a colossal failure. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
