Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He carries with him a set of pickaxes, each one with a amber on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His red hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Beggar. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alexandre fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears a grey cloak and cross-gartered white stockings. His white hair is knotted and matted. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are amber.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Richard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Richard grew up listening to his father's many stories. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His chestnut hair is still thick. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Theobald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. After a long history of fighting, Theobald and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears tattered old clothes. He has shaved his head bald. His hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has taken up work as a Cartwright and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
