Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jacoba grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jacoba. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and a rival would like her out of the picture

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and doesn't want to be a bather and was forced into it by her family

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Susannah is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Susannah never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
