History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Seamstress hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Katherine was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Katherine's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
