Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Emma embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. After coming to the age of reason, Emma took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she's in love

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Manfred does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He got into the Servant business at a young age. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has achieved small success as a Servant.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

History: Born to a Guard, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. After a long history of fighting, Conrad and his spouse have recently divorced.
