History: He comes from a rich northern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Miller. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Miller for hire.
