History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Jacoba lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the north to a Scribe, Egelina learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. In her youth she was a Bricklayer, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger brother on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. She has worked as a Scribe like her mother before her.
