Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Alex was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. The war was a terrible time for her, and Elysande does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Elysande was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has never given up on her singing dream.
