History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

He carries with him a set of spears on his belt, each one with a topaz on the hilt. His brown hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are likewise violet. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shane does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: This woman loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Geva was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she has money and likes to spend it

Voice: Gruff and masculine

Description: He wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents, and he perpetually has his trident ready. His chestnut hair is knotted and matted. His eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aldous fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.
