He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Cook born in the past three hundred years. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Cook. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cook.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: The child of a Guard, who enjoyed hunting, Ella was taken on many hunting expeditions. Ella liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and to reunite with her absent father
