History: Gerard hails from a village terrorized by giants. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Gerard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: Jacoba speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She is a Doppelganger in disguise. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is an amazing painter.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Williamina grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Williamina. She has achieved small success as a Brewer.
