History: Cecily lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is a Barrister first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Charles does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He got into the Barrister business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barrister. He struck the Barrister job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Barrister responsibilities is difficult.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and an old rival family wants him found
