History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Body Guard they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Farmer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and retire the richest man in the north

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
