When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Jacoba and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His red hair is thinning but still full. This blue eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Hugh was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Stylist. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
