History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roland grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roland. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Born in the west to a Animal Trainer, Alex learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Alex liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He became a Animal Trainer soon after.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
