History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gilbert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: The child of a Bookbinder, who enjoyed hunting, Nicholas was taken on many hunting expeditions. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Nicholas was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
