Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Williamina never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
