History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

His half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lewis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Mary is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Apothecary they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Servant, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Servant and was forced into it by her family.
