Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Interpreter born in the past three hundred years. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Rosamund has worked very hard to control her curse. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Interpreter for hire.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Interpreter responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Adelard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student he started as a Weaver, but he got bored and became a Doctor. He's also a talented Weaver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
