Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Bookbinder business.

History: Katherine hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Merchant but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
