History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Melissa was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Melissa never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion

Personality: Hugh hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his singing career. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.
