History: Agatha hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A freak accident while working with his Engraver father left him crippled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and doesn't want to be a junk dealer and was forced into it by his family

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Herbalist for the past few years.
