Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Anselm embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. History: The child of a Painter, who enjoyed hunting, Elizabeth was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. A freak accident while working with her Barrister mother left her crippled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
