History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his youth he was a Mortician, and wanted to be a champion fighter when he grew up. He was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives he lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger sister on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rolf fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Peter is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: The child of a Tanner, who enjoyed hunting, Peter was taken on many hunting expeditions. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, John grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Through the years after John was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. John's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
