History: Oriel lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents were killed by orcs in a raid when she was still a young child. The orcs captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and she desires to right it

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Eleanor grew up listening to her father's many stories. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
