History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Helen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bernard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bernard. Being a Knight kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
