History: Thomas was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. She wears a blue vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her pastel leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her blue boots flare out at the collars, marred by sweets. Her hair is golden and curly. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Aline was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In her 13th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
