The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Rosalind lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student she started as a Sage, but she got bored and became a Bather. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.
