Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. The war was a terrible time for her, and Emmeline does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 3 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Emmeline never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.

Description: She is a husky woman, who prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. She wears her golden hair up in a very large beehive style do. Her eyes are green and beady.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: The child of a Sage, who enjoyed hunting, Jane was taken on many hunting expeditions. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her long golden hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Mary was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and doesn't want to be a miner and was forced into it by her family

He prefers to carry a scimitar, but if one is not available he will default to his dagger. He keeps his white hair in a pixie cut. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Through the years after Lewis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Lewis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
