History: John was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
