History: Galiena hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her psionic talents. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Galiena was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Percival was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bookbinder. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Percival never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

She is highly competitive and combative.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Through the years after Maynild was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Maynild's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
