Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is a Dyer first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born in the north to a Dyer, Katherine learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered dancing. She became a Dyer soon after.

She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
