Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Godfrey embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. The war was a terrible time for him, and Godfrey does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ahlyssa grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Ahlyssa has worked very hard to control her curse. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He got into the Bather business at a young age. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bather. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.
