Personality: Sarah wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she desires power and/or immortality

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east.

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She dresses well, wearing brown shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. Her hair is golden and curly. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: Joan hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
