History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Priest. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: This woman loves singing and to teach people singing more than just about anything. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has never given up on her singing dream.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Description: She is a woman of bearing and well nourished. She wears a brown vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her white leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her brown boots flare out at the collars. Her blonde hair is smooth and relatively long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Griselda hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her dancing career. Griselda is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miner and was forced into it by her family; and retire the richest woman in the south
