History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Hadwisa alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
